NSS reveals felony investigations against BHK chief Tsarukyan

Gago's problems with law
BHK leader Dodi Gago's (Gagik Tsarukyan) businesses have been at the center of numerous investigations post-2018 revolution.
In 2018 we learned about his right-hand man's alleged multi-billion fraud involving North-South freeway construction.
On Ap29/2019 we learned about a 0.5bln alleged tax evasion by his tramway operations in Tsakhkadzor.
In May/4/2020 the authorities accused his right-hand man Arustamyan of paying $22mln bribe to HHK regime to give his businesses a pass on certain things.
In May/6//2020 his casino Shangri La was accused of financial violations by the regulations. He agreed to "fix" it.
There was at least one major construction-related felony case in Yerevan. Etc.
 
In June/8/2020 Gago launched a sharp attack against Pashinyan administration and vowed to unify the opposition. Pashinyan's office referred to it as an attempt by Gago to make noise because he knows there are serious criminal investigations against him.
 
Today the NSS revealed the investigations against Gago.
One of them is about voter buying. Simultaneously, a screenshot of a document was leaking allegedly showing a payment scheme in Gegharquniq Province. Names and positions are listed. 2k to transport the voter, 10k for voters, dozens of millions for local activists, etc.
BHK says the screenshot was Photoshopped and is fake. NSS says they confiscated several PCs and documents regarding this case.
NSS says:
Several BHK members carried out a plan to commit voter fraud involving 100s of millions of AMD, some disguised as an aid for students and others.
Over 40 raids were carried out. PCs and documents were confiscated.
It's about April/2/2017 Parliamentary elections in which Gago's BHK got 28%. Party admins were also involved. End of report.
BHK MP Naira: they detained our entire crew in the Gegharquniq office and confiscated every computer and phone from all family members.
 
Casino shenanigans
NSS report says: Gago's casino chain defrauded the state of 30bln, and caused another 40bln in lost investments between 2011-2014. They abused a specific law to fabricate documents to gain a right to do businesses in multiple locations and for other personal benefits.
 
Another felony about property abuse.
NSS report says:
Arinj city officials illegally legalized properties built on agricultural lands, by forging docs to claim the 7.5ha lands were for industrial use. Other laws were broken. The beneficiary was Gago's Nyu LLC. ~350mln in damages to the state.
 
Gago will go to NSS to testify.
He said he won't back down, calling it an illegal pressure and persecution. He criticized govt's handling of economy and pandemic.
 
Supporters gather.
Workers from Gago's several businesses gathered in front of his mansion and the NSS office to show support.
The police are trying to make sure the crowd respects COVID safety. They warned the crowd against over-crowding.
Eventually, >100 protesters were arrested after shutting down a nearby street and continuing the gathering. Among them were Gago's business directors.
 
Observers.
Informed Citizens NGO chief says the police actions against protesters were lawful.
NGO boss: "Recently we noticed that people, who learn through leaks about upcoming criminal cases against them, choose to ramp up their political activities so later they can claim to be a victim of political persecution."
"We've long complained about voter-fraud-like activities by BHK, some of which were happening blatantly in front of cameras. This case looks like the Zibilix case [in which several HHK members plead guilty/convicted of voter fraud]."
 
Pressured to join protests.
There are several reports that Gago's businesses are pressuring workers to go join the protests. Gago's Arinj Mall workers say the Mall's deputy director and Yerevan councilman Armen Nersisyan is behind it. Armen Nersisyan denied, saying he has an alibi.
Arinj Mall was closed today. The workers and contractors couldn't open their booths for sales.
 
A rare incident.
Professional protester Vardges Gaspari (laying on the ground guy) came to support the police and authorities. He supports "criminals being raided".
 
The interrogation is over.
After testifying for 10 hours at the NSS facility, Gago finally exited the building. He's not arrested, at least not for now due to immunity.
Gago referred to the situation as political persecution because he claims it was a response to his last week's sharp rhetoric against Pashinyan. (SIMP mentality right here)
 
Stripping the immunity.
General Prosecutor's office might ask the Parliament to strip Gago's immunity so he can be charged and arrested, "if enough evidence is revealed". They dismissed BHK's allegations that it's political persecution.
QP will hold a meeting tomorrow to decide whether to strip his immunity.
 
QP and BHK members respond.
QP MP Kristine: 10 days from now, when the COVID numbers spike, BHK will accuse the govt of failing the fight. [referring to today's gathering].
The length of NSS's document against Gago shows how large this investigation was, therefore it must have started a long time ago. BHK's claim that this was a response to Gago's last week's activation makes no sense.
 
BHK Naira: this is the beginning of the end for this govt, and the end will come quick. Complete disregard for personal life. More fabrications and persecutions. Nothing will silence us.
To those QP MPs who'll vote on stripping Gago of immunity, I want them to remember that tomorrow there may come a time for them to be held accountable for their actions.

ex-BHK MP Ishkhan Zakarayan also testified for 4 hours as part of the voter fraud case. NSS says he reveled some info. He's a semi-suspect.

the two other party members are upstairs at the old man's house, waiting for 4am when the nights earnings are deposited
Timpleton instead immediately downs a potion of invisibility and sneaks into the room with the safe when it's opened
he gets locked in
the other two don't know he's in there

I was wondering if you guys could give some insight on why the art team choose to put Shadow Sae in such revealing clothing for her arc of the story. I'm not here to complain I just cant really find any fan cannon or sources that dictate why she would wear that clothing. The general casino motif of her palace makes sense and her tattoos reflecting her jealous etc are all covered on the wiki but the heavy makeup/goth look still doesn't really reflect what her character is all about unless I'm missing something here.
Would love to hear from you guys, the best reason I've heard was that she probably didn't have any boyfriends growing up and her shadow self wants to "be sexy" and the adult Sae rejects that desire but I dunno about all that.

Be me, DM of static group for ~2 years
Regular player takes break from gaming for personal reasons, and no way are we carrying on without them
I set up a one-shot for the space between campaigns (another player will DM for us a bit later, needs time to prepare)
Same setting, in the area where the Efreet moved to after Plane of Fire warped out of control, it's City of Brass in all but name
I pitch the session as a detective game with some politics thrown in, tracking criminals and such
Enter the 2 PCs
First up we have a Celestial Warlock that doesn't even remember their original appearance from using Disguise Self so much, and is hardcore on upholding law
So far so good
Second PC is a Zealot Barbarian with dumped INT and WIS
She has taken "Unarmored Defense" somewhat seriously
First thing vigilante Warlock sees while waiting to discuss the case is a human woman with lots of axes and freeing the nipple(s)

They introduce each other
Warlock tells brief story about how he has travelled the world upholding order because order brings peace and that is its own reward, which is why he does not seek recognition but is simply here because it is right
Barbarian begins speaking in admittedly very good thick Russian accent
"I woke up after bang on head. Orc over head with axe. I kill orc. I not remember what came before bang, but I know am good at fight. I came to fight, fight has good money."
Warlock politely rolls with it
They are called in to palace, where Efreet noble waits for them, and given the concubines they all hang around anyway he doesn't notice or care about Barb
Efreet explains that an artifact they value extremely highly (a telescopic lens) has been stolen from an archive nobody should have known about in the first place, and they will reward 50,000 gold if they bring back the thieves alive and the artifact intact.
They were called in because of the awkward political divisions among districts, and they could not be seen intefering in matters outside their own borders so the two must be acting on their own
Barbarian begins to count 50,000 on fingers
Efreet: "...it's a lot more than 10."
Warlock: "You can buy nations with this much wealth. I expect nothing less from the extravagance your people live in."
Barb: "But can money buy happiness? Can it buy me friends?"
Efreet: "...I mean, yeah, with that much, probably."
Barb: "Then I will get your thing."
Next couple of hours consist of the two traveling to the archive and following clues
Warlock does most of the finer details of the investigation while Barb fucks up all the thugs that sniff their trail being followed and try to stop them
Trail takes them to warehouse full of black powder barrels, probably used to blow the hole in the floor
After gathering some more clues, more thugs lock the doorway behind them and try to beat them down
Warlock easily enchants most of them to stand down
Half-Orc leader of thugs swears in Orcish when hit
Barb's mind is blown, because she thought the entire time Orcish was a language that her own creative mind made up
Subdued thugs reveal that they were hired by a casino in another district, probably where the thieves are hiding, since they can't leave the city until the heat dies down
Casino seems to be entirely bought out by the thieves, all staff are in their pockets, so plan to get inside is not straight-forward
Scoping out the place, they see a staff-only door in the back
Warlock manages to unlock it with magic shenanigans
He disguises himself as the Half-Orc they beat up earlier, and wanders in
He's immediately apprehended by another thug, who yells at him for coming in the wrong way
Player of Warlock panics
Starts to act drunk and sways
Starts speaking back to her in a bizarre combination of New York movie cop and Boston accents
"Come ahn, cahn't a guy jus' gedda naice mug ahftah a lawng day on tah smahsh'n'grahb?"

Me: "I'm not quite sure that's how the Half-Orc spoke."
Warlock player points to his character sheet
"Well, I have the Actor feat, so I'd probably impersonate him properly"
Welp, now it's canon
The thug woman totally buys it, recognising her old unreliable New Yorker Half-Orc pal who's had too much to drink
She slowly tries to explain to her drunk mate the method of actually getting inside, through the front doors with a special token put in to a hidden compartment next to the boarded up construction doorways
"Ah shit, I lost mah chips."
At this point everyone's sides are in orbit
Thug hands him a new token and tells him to fuck off
The problem still remains of how to get inside with the Barbarian in tow
So far they've seen that these thugs have been pretty sleazy, and they both get an idea at the same time
Warlock, in the guise of Half-Orc cop, puts arm around waist of half-naked Barb
Barb purposefully moves it lower
Legit begins playing it off that she's going to be his whore as they waltz through the front door and the Warlock fires finger guns with a grin at the guards
I guess this is happening now
Their act actually works, and they get through to the back area where all the thieves are sitting about with the box and gambling to pass time
Warlock continues acting sleazy to everyone who will speak to him, goes to chat up a female member of the crew who looks to be a caster, probably to learn more about what they can do before they drop the act
"Why are you talking to me? Don't you remember how you fucked things up for me before? Stop pretending like this shit doesn't matter anymore, Dreyfus."
"Don't be like thaht, darlin'!"
"DON'T CHANGE THE FUCKING SUBJECT, ASSWIPE"
Attention is starting to be drawn, tension rising
Barb breaks away from Warlock as this is happening, not really thinking about how nobody knows who she is
Walks right up to box, where leader is sitting, and clumsily begins to caress his arm
"I could not help but notice..."
"Who the fuck are you?"
Leader looks down past her knockers and sees that she still has her weapons, indicating that she is almost definitely not a whore. Sheer fucking luck got them to this point
Warlock panics, and uses Hold Monster on leader
He succeeds, and slowly looks over to Half-Orc

Leader's accent spurts forth, a familiar terrible impression but from me this time
"Ah thought you were too polaht tuh be Dreyfus!"
Complete fucking chaos erupts
All betting tables flip, leader raises a stolen magic staff and starts blowing shit up
Warlock dashes to sideline and sends support to Barb when he can, but otherwise just keeps running to not be mauled by the over 30 thugs and thieves hanging around this casino interior
Meanwhile, Barb has found her fucking element
Runs right in the middle of the room and just takes on the dozens of thugs head-on
Every round there are over 20 crossbow bolts being launched in her direction, and half a dozen brutes with heavy weapons closing in on her
What follows is some series finale shit
They rolled one rare magic item before the start of the session, and she had a Cloak of Displacement
All those crossbow bolts and swings with disadvantage until a good shot lands
This lone woman with no property or clothing to her name other than some pants and two battleaxes chews through the entire crowd narrowly avoiding shots left, right and centre
Picks a few dudes up and just hurls them over the tables like it's a fucking Jackie Chan movie
Nearly goes down once but Warlock continues ducking and diving and providing heals when needed while blasting the bowmen
What tops it all off, is that she actually remembered, when it matters most
Every hit she lands is non-lethal, her axes deflect and she just clangs them over the head with the pommels
Knocks out the entire room's worth of thugs alone, in a full flood of multiple encounters that morphed in to one due to their plan, a challenge rating that would legit have put her in to Guts' 1v100 territory
Artificer leader surrenders but she just knocks him out anyway
They take the box and leave, giving the district authorities a false story to get them locked up without connecting it to the Efreet who contracted them
Receive the 50,000gp as promised
Barb: "Now I can buy my friends."

Link Observatory Public Program: 7PM-11PM July 15th at Mooresville Public Library and Link Observatory. Bring the family to explore the universe with the Indiana Astronomical Society and the Goethe Link Observatory, owned by Indiana University. Each program includes an exciting multimedia presentation on NASA missions and space exploration. Presentations take place in the Community Room at the Mooresville Public Library. After the presentation, free shuttles are provided to the Observatory for telescope viewing (weather permitting). Choose from either the 7:00 pm or the 9:00 pm presentation, then ride the shuttle bus to the historic Link Observatory just south of Mooresville. No registration is required for this free program and presentations are suitable for all ages. Presentations are handicapped accessible, but accessing the Observatory's main telescope does require climbing stairs. There are often smaller telescopes available for viewing on the lawn.

Beginning Birding Program: 9-1030AM Saturdays through July 29th at the Great Marsh Trail parking lot. Join a ranger and fellow birding enthusiasts every Saturday morning. No birding experience is required. A spotting scope and binoculars will be provided. The program will start at the southern gravel parking lot followed by a short hike to the Great Marsh observation deck to look for herons, egrets, ducks and other birds of the marsh. If you arrive late, simply hike to the observation deck to join the vent. The hike will be offered every Saturday in July.

Mount Baldy Hike: 10-1130AM Sundays July 2-30 at Indiana Dunes Visitor Center. Join a ranger for a special guided morning hike along a trail on the western edge to the top of famous Mount Baldy. Even though the area is closed for general public access, this ranger-led tour allows visitors to experience the beauty and spectacular views from the tallest dune in the national lakeshore. This outdoor walking tour exhibit is juried with awards and art auction held each year at the end of summer. This annual exhibit has included many different art objects over the past eight years, from giant paintings on easels to garden benches. Hey guys first time posting so sorry if the formatting is bad. Just wanted to give a list of some story points on how to make the main characters and story better, IMO!
1: Have admiral holdo tell Poe about her plan, based on Poes previous accomplishments for the rebels he clearly isnt the spy, this eliminates the entire pointless mutiny
2: Have Poe go to the casino world with Finn, eliminate rose character. Poe and Finn are much more interesting characters.
3: Focus less on political message of capitalism bad and more on del toros character. i dont care if they keep their whole rich are evil thing in just tone it down and focus on the interesting new character a bit more.
4: this is a big one for the future plot: DONT KILL LUKE yet.. i was pretty disappointed in Lukes character in this film but they could still keep what they did for the most part i just think he should have played a bigger role and will be more important for my later points
5: this one is pretty much the same as what happens in the movie. have rey get pissed off at luke and after her and kylos communications go to kylo for training, but make it more along the lines of rey falling to the dark side a bit, maybe introduce something from reys past or parents as to why she should want to leave luke to train with kylo. I believe this gives Rey some desperately needed depth as a character.
6: Minor gripe but still i think important. PLEASE explain who snoke is some minor backstory etc if you are going to kill him off, which i dont disagree with.
7: Have Rey actually fall to the darkside and join snoke and kylo, have snoke send Kylo and Rey off to train somewhere else.
8: Have Snoke then communicate to luke, like kylo and rey, that Rey has failed Luke's 'test' and will fall to the darkside, then have Luke surprise Snoke by showing up at Snokes throne room and this being the climax of TLJ Luke vs Snoke with Luke winning and Snoke saying he got the last laugh as he stole Lukes last chance in Rey.
9: Luke is thinks he has failed but Yoda and obi-wan show up and are like you haven't found the one who will save everything yet... chewy brings Luke back to meet up with Leia and Finn and Poe on the salt world...
10: It turns out that FINN is the one yoda and obi-wan were talking about and Luke realizes this, big final battle ensues with kylo and rey fighting against the rebels Finn is devastated by Reys betrayal, luke does some badass shit to save everyone and then takes Finn to go train to become the real protagonist of the show, with Finn vowing that he will bring Rey back from the darkside
Conclusion: Lukes character is actually useful, can still be the depressed i hate the jedi and the force even though i dont really like this i dont want to change too much, Rey and Finn get some desperately needed depth and emotional value, people start to actually dislike kylo, as they should hes the villain, for corrupting rey.
Again this is just my opinion and I havent put a ton of thoughts into if there are any major issues with these plots. I also haven't mentioned really anything about the imperial vs rebel chase or other side characters as IMO this should be a side plot to the story and Rey, Kylo, Finn, and Luke should be the main focus of the story. Let me know what you think!
Final note: this is also just what i think would have improved the story overall while still keeping the plot/characters similar. This would also still give Disney a "good ending" a more cynical person could just have it so Rey legit goes to the dark side completely and there is no Light side savior, i feel like this wastes Finns character although in the movie he already seems like a wasted opportunity tbh. Also my addition that finn could potentially be a Jedi is supported by TFW where he not only fights Kylo with a lightsaber, but also at the very very beginning of TFW where Kylo looks directly at Finn while they are slaughtering the desert villagers
