golden wedding table decorations uk - win

Sept 22, 2018: Budget recap. Super small, super low budget, home/backyard. Madison, WI.

Our budget: $500
Total cost: $634.35 (oops)
Neither of us wanted a big wedding, so we had a very short ceremony in our backyard with immediate family only (8 people total). It was amazing - exactly what we wanted - and we would absolutely do it again the same way. Here is our timeline:
Despite being married on the autumn equinox, I didn't want the decorations to be too "halloween-y," so I avoided squash and maple leaves motifs and chose cream and antique gold. More notes are below, but here is the cost breakdown:
Item Cost Note(s)
Marriage License $120
Officiant $120 Cost plus tip for 5-minute ceremony
Venue $0 Our backyard
Photography $0 MIL took photos as her wedding gift
Clothing
My dress $25 Used some credit card points I had
Groom's outfit $0 Used suit he already had
Crystal and pearl headband $6.13 Cost plus shipping
Rhinestone belt $16.24 Cost plus shipping
Crystal hair pins $2.15 Cost plus shipping
Slip - White $8.09 Didn't use - too noticeable under dress and unfortunately non-returnable
Slip - Beige $15.99 Used this slip instead
Heels - white single strap $10 Payless Shoes clearance
Strapless bra $47 I didn't technically need strapless with the dress I chose but wore it anyway. Highly recommend this style! I normally wear a 32GG and the 34G was good all day with no adjustments.
HMUA $0 Did on my own
Bouquet $3.99 Flowers from Aldi!

The Absolutely Fantastic Wedding of Levi and Ellie Zaster

While the camp is getting ready for dinner, Argus pulls up in a dark blue bus big enough to fit the entire camp on. It is a deep blue with white streaks down the sides. Chiron leads the entire camp onto the bus with a obvious grin plastered onto his face. The camp is seated comfortably and they take off down the road. Heading towards the tip of Long Island.
The bus drives up a dirt driveway to a cozy little Church. Inside the Church, the walls are a lovely blue with golden stars that twinkle in the omnipresent light, creating a break taking image.
As the campers walk down the isles, and take a seat in the Police Box themed seats, they know its the wedding of Levi and Ellie Zaster.
Janine, Shannon, Nadia, Sophia, Alexandra are smiling to the left of the alter, wearing an adorable blue dress that shines in the light, creating a blue glow to the front of the room.
Thomas, Ben, Shaun, and Ryder are laughing to the right of the alter, wearing awesome black tuxedos. Inspired by the Tenth Doctor.
While the lights are dimmed and there is faint music being played from a piano. Camille smiles as she plays a brilliant masterpiece by Beethoven. Suddenly the door open and Levi walks in wearing a blue suit. he takes his place by the alter as he waits patiently for his fiancé. Ellie rides in on Aurum, Levi's golden and badass Pegasus wearing this dress, Ellie blushes as she gets of Aurum and takes her place across Levi, they slowly slip their hands into each other and look into each others eyes as Ryder beings binding them.
After Ryder binds them to life, they kiss, and everyone cheers for them. Some people live more in twenty years than in eighty. It's all about the person.. And Ellie and Levi have started a great life together.
*Levi leads everyone outside as the sun starts to set on the horizon, making all the clouds in the sky turn deep shades of purple and bright orange. There are blue tables set up with Dalek, TARDIS, and Weeping Angel cookies. There is also a magnificent cake*
Ryders mechs cook up an excellent dinner of everything you can imagine. Off to the side, a little dance floor has been set up in the sand. Blasting awesome music over the party.
Levi looks out at the sunset, smiling to himself as he takes a deep breath. He has a wife to go to.
He goes up to Ellie and offers her his hand.
"Hello Sweetie."
OOC: Hey Everyone, I want to say I'm Sorry for not getting this out earlier, I've had personal problems on my end that I couldn't avoid. Love ya guys <3 AND THEY ARE FINALLY MARRIED!

Our rainy Australian wedding (more photos and details inside)

Hi everyone,
I've mostly been a lurker here, but I've loved reading all the posts (particularly recaps) and got a number of ideas from this sub. So I've put together a short (or, as it turns out, not so short) recap of my wedding this past weekend.
Details
Location: Rous Mill, New South Wales, Australia
Budget: ~$26k AUD* (~$18.5k USD)
*My parents very generously paid for some unexpected expenses after our reception venue burnt down (more detail on this below) and I don't know the exact amount of this. However, this should be a relatively good estimate of the total cost of the wedding.
Guest count:
What went so-amazingly right:
But first, some photos: https://imgur.com/a/jKWFKYc*
*These photos are from the highlights that our amazing photographer sent us only a few days after the wedding. We're still waiting on the fully gallery. I've tried to avoid including many photos with our guests to respect their privacy.
I could honestly just rave for hours about our wedding day - it was amazing. When things occasionally got stressful during the planning process, my husband and I would lightheartedly joke about eloping. In the few days since the wedding, my husband has told me a number of times how happy he is that we had the wedding (rather than eloping). So below is a long list of all the things that went right on our day.
What didn't go quite to plan:
I hesitate to say that anything went wrong (besides the fire), so here's what didn't go quite as we had planned -
Overall, we had an amazing wedding, which went mostly to plan. I couldn't think of a better way to start our married life.

(From http://www.holyface.org.uk/content/sacrivultus.htm) In the Vatican, when Veronica's veil became very vivid and glowed in front of all present while on display, it became a custom in the Vatican to display Veronica's veil every year afterward on Passion Sunday for veneration to the public. Each year, effigies/drawings were created of Veronica's veil (usually about 15" x 12"), then touched to the original veil, to a relic of the true cross, and to the spear that pierced Christ's side. From there, a text description was placed at the bottom (or on the back) of the relic, and the Pope imprinted a wax seal on each. This practice was continued for about 50 years.
