bakit ako nag awol? well, during my last year sa UP, nakulong ang nanay ko, very abusive ang tatay ko (keep spitting words on my like "kala ko ba matalino ka? bakit nagkakamali ka?", "ang laki mong tao wala kang lilim!", "maghanap ka ng trabaho kung gusto mong mag-aral!"), and syempre gaya ng problema ng maraming estudyanteng tumitigil sa pag-aaral, wala kaming pang-aral sa college. Nag-decide ko na tumigil ako sa pag-aaral dahil iba pa ang mentality ko noon (family first, oras na para magbalik ako sa parents ko, etc etc) nag trabaho ako sa casino for more than 2 years, maganda ang bayad, napagtapos ko yung bunso kong kapatid, at na-shoulder ko expenses sa bahay (wifi, upa, tuition at baon ni utol, monthly maintenance ng gamot ni mama sa kulungan), pero yung abuse ng tatay ko hindi natapos. Lahat ng gastos ko sa bahay noon, hindi pa pala sapat para sa kanya, everytime na made-delay yung bigay kong pera, ang daming hindi magandang salita ang naririnig ko sa kanya. There was a time na months niya kong di kinakausap dahil may nililigawan akong ka-work ko, maagang papasok, late uuwi, syempre hatid sundo. Kahit na alam akong I can perform as well as engineering gradutes if not better, hindi ako makakuha ng interview since wala akong experience sa field ko at hindi ako engineering graduate. Eventually natanggap ako as a CAD Operator sa isang contractor na nagfa-fabricate ng tanks, gumagawa ng piping, basically mechanical ang forte.
Ok naman yung work pero I know I can do better. Nag offer yung nanay ng aking SO na pag-aralin ako. Very supportive yung SO ko at yung kapatid ko. My SO said na it's all up to me dahil sususportahan niya ko no matter what.
4 years na kong AWOL, may chance ba na tanggapin pa ko? My last year in UP was a disaster, yung first sem may isa akong bagsak, second sem dalawa lang yung napasa out of 5 (I was very distracted kasi naghahanap na ko ng work at hirap na hirap kami financially). Given na ganyan yung scholastic record ko at mataas ang standards ni EEEI, tatanggapin kaya nila ako? I need advice guys, since very big decision ito para sa akin.

Hi everyone, I'm new here and also new to Baccarat. I'm here with the intention of finding fellow gamblers near me, making friends to share and discuss strategies using constructive criticism.
So I became interested in baccarat after coming across Christopher Mitchell's youtube videos. Now now, let's set aside the notion of him being a scammer or not a scammer. And no, I didn't buy his strategies nor have I paid him to coach me. So read on.
I've watched all his vids and after studying the game and analyzing multiple score cards, I've developed a strategy I named 'Flatingale'. It encompasses table minimum flat betting combined with martingale. Basically knowing when to constant flat bet, when to martingale, how to play with long single chops, short win streaks and long win streaks of Player and Banker. So I brought a bankroll of $4,150 to Pala Casino in Southern California(they only have EZ Baccarat non-commissioned tables so I don't have any other choice). Tried the strat for the first time and won $275 profit after a hard battle of 2 shoes. Martingale got to a scare point when I had to go up to the 5th martingale of $800 to which 6th is the final. Knowing that you can only win using martingale in the short-run and the House always win in the long-run no matter what, I've made adjustments and tweaks to 'Flatingale' so NOT to be over-relying on or abusing it; losing several thousands of $ in 7 bets is NOT a good feeling nor experience.

I'm trying to get a feel for how many poker rooms are getting permanently shut down due to covid. Rooms that were open normally pre-covid but will be closing permanently, not ones still closed due to other restriction but that may still re-open.

Dover Downs (Delaware) - room was closed pre-Covid and was moved to a few poker tables in the pit, likely dead now

Long long.. so long... hayy..
So ma left home when I was old enough to take care sa mga kapatid ko (I was 8YO. Siblings are 5&4YO). Dinadahilan niya na para samin naman daw kaya sya nag abroad.
Anw got to find out na andami pala nyang utang dito sa pinas pati lupa at bahay na tinitirhan namin naisanla nya (hoho). Actually pati lupa ng mga kapatid niya hahahayy..

So balik tayo sa utang.. Dad paid everything pakonti konti for 8 years. Last payment was 5 yrs ago YEY!
Then ma came back. Akala ko para sa grad ko wew nah hidden agenda gusto raw niya mag insert country here. Etong tatay kong tsundere (bwisit ka napaka stoic mo samin) na kala ko naman galit, nagbigay ng pang gastos. WHY??
Idk kung mahal lang talaga nya si mama or dahil ang dami nilang pinagsamahan (puta highschool sweethearts pwe) or baka under de saya sya no? Kasi kung pera lang e we could live well off kahit di na bumalik sa abroad si mama. So one time nagiinuman kami I asked him and he said
"Bakit tingin mo aayos buhay natin kapag nandito sya?"
And damn that hit me hard kasi no matter how much hinirap ko para maging nanay sa mga kapatid ko, that situation was actually better then having her and her controlling freak twin with us.
Ang productive ng inuman na to. Sa haba ng kwentuhan na yun I realized he wasn't angry at her. If anything he was sad kasi he couldn't keep her dito sa pilipinas. Simula nung naging sila alam niya na maluho si mama. So as a teen and soon an adult, he thought maibibigay naman niya siguro mga gusto ni mama. Pero the shit that happened made him think na he couldn't. Alam niya na he had done everything he could, alam niya na hindi niya dapat sisihin yung sarili niya pero he couldn't stop blaming himself. Turns out everything he's doing for her now is out of guilt more fuel for anger dahil mahal ko yung tatay ko kahit minsan bwisit sya.
Fast forward. She wants us sa insert country here. She even wants dad to leave his job THAT HAS SUPPORTED US FOR YEARS AND HAS PAID UP ALL HER DEBT.

So despite anger and resentment I still helped in processing papers pero not for me haha para sa mga kapatid ko. Maybe their life na deprived sa aruga ng nanay would be better doon. (Hayaan niyo na ko lemme be same cold chicken in the freezer)
Fast forward. A month ago nakarating kami (hinatid ko sila all the way). I remember staring at my mom for the first time in 5 yrs. She gained the weight she lost last time I saw her. Her eyebags were DROOPING! She used to be a dentist pero naggray na yung ngipin niya. Ma wtf. And she's working 2 jobs dito. She sleeps less than 4 hrs a day. And she's still the same sweet mom who like to meddle with EVERYTHING.

Yung kinakasama niya (matagal na silang hiwalay ng tatay ko), may magandang position sa restaurant industry, kaya maayos din ang kita. May anak silang babae (half sister ko). So okay naman financial situation namin dati, walang problema.
Dumating yun time na nalulong sa casino yun nanay ko at kinakasama niya, college pa ko noon. Nabaon ng TODO sa utang. To the point na WALANG nilalabas na perang pampa aral saming mga anak. Kahit allowance (nung una meron, pero nung nabaon sa utang, wala na). Tatay naming magkapatid (2 kaming lalake sa tatay ko) ang nagpaaral samin at sagot pa niya gastos at allowance namin. Yun nanay kong parasite, nag aabang lang ng pera. Umabot sa puntong kinukulit ako na sabihin sa tatay ko na magpadala para may pang gastos siya dahil walang diskarte sa buhay.
Sunod sunod problema namin simula noon. Napag alamang kong sinangla yun kotse (na hindi pa tapos bayaran) kaya namroblema sa bayad ay yung lola ko. So nagkaron ng utang kung saan saan yun nanay ko, at napilitang magbayad amg lola ko para hindi sila masangkot sa kung ano mang masama (you know how it is pagdating sa casino/gambling scene). Sa pagkakaalam ko, malaki din utang ng nanay ko sa kanya. Namatay siya 3 years ago (fresh grad ako) at dun na lumala talaga yun sitwasyon namin. Sorry, balik sa topic na kotse. So gusto kasi ng tita ko bilhan siya ng bagong kotse, hati ata sila sa pagbabayad. So may bago nang kotse at okay naman kami(bago to mamatay tita ko). Around that time, nasa abroad yun kinakasama ng nanay ko, middle east ata,pero after a while, gulat akong biglang umuwi ng walang pasabi. Nalaman ko from my lola na nagkaron daw siya ng problema sa employment doon (ang sabi sakin ay may tinakasang utang, pero di ako totally sure). So nagtrabaho bilang taxi driver dito dahil nahirapan maghanap ng ibang opportunity. Napag usapan nilang kumuha pa ng isang kotse (sedan) pang grab. So yun kikitain sana nila sa grab, pang gastos sa pamilya nila at syempre sa kotse na rin. Yun time na yun, parang nagkaproblema ang grab sa LTFRB kaya hindi natuloy. So walang kinita sa grab, kaya balik taxi na lang. Ngayon, nagawan pa dn namang bayaran yun kotse, pero laging bitin. Laging kulang ng 1k, or 2k,at sinasabi pa ng nanay ko na "sus idagdag niyo na, yun lang e" or something like that. (so isipin niyo, pag may problema sa bayad, delay o kung ano man, ang mapepenalize ay lola ko dahil sa kanya nakapangalan. So kumbaga pake ba nila kung magkaproblema sa pera, walang sanction sa kanila.)
So ganun yung situation. Isipin niyo na ganun lagi ang tinatamo ng lola ko sa nanay ko. At AYAW UMALIS SA BAHAY NG LOLA KO FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. Putang inang parasite na walang kwenta. Ilang beses ko na naka away at nakamurahan ang nanay ko at kinakasama niya dahil diyan (oo, nung college pa ko. At matinding murahan). Hindi ko na din mabilang yun mga times na nakipagmurahan lola ko sa kanila (to think na sila na nga lang nakikitira). Sawang sawa na lola ko (at ako) putting up with their shit pero hindi niya mapaalis dahil ano bamg magagawa niya. Ilang beses ko na tinulungan lola ko sa pagpaalis sa kanila pero parang linta.
Anyway, fast forward sa pandemic. Dito lumala talaga. Nagkaanak ako last novemver with my girlfriend laya lumipat ako sa place nila na inuupahan. So imbis na sa bahay kami (para makatipid, dahil walang upa) ako mismo na nagdesisyong umalis dahil sa sitwasyon sa bahay. Hindi na rin ako mkatiis.
Natigil ang pag aahente ng lola ko so humirap kumita. Sa sitwasyon ko naman, okay lahat ng jobs namin (private school teacher ako, sa pharma office gf ko, ok dn situation ng magulang niya dito) so no worries kami. Yun nanay ko, natigil din ang mga gig dahil nga sa pandemic. A few months before the pandemic pala, nakapag abroad uli yun kinakasama ko pero umuwi na naman ng biglaan (hindi ko na nalaman king bakit, pero oarang fishy na naman).
Ngayon, yun lola ko kasi masarap talag magluto. Ever since bata kami, lola ko talaga ang nagluluto sa bahay. Maraming friends at family na sinasabi talagang siya ang isa sa best pagdating sa pagluto na kilala nila (hindi po sa pagmamayabang). So sinubukan ng lola ko (at syempre, ng nanay ko at kinakasama niya) na mag negosyo ng pagkain ngayong may pandemic. Sa kabutihan, maganda ang takbo ng business. Laging maraming order, pero hindi sapat para bayaran lahat. Kaya partly nagrerely lola ko sa pension oara may pandadag bills.
Ang usapan daw nila, hati sa profit/kita. Pero nung tumagal, walang nakukuhang pera yun lola ko. Kumbaga hinayaan na lang din niya dahil puro rason ang nanay ko na "sakto lang pang gastos e, pang bills na lang" kaya walang nakukuha lola ko. Putang ina diba? Ilang buwan na hindi nababayaran yun ubang utilities at naputulan na ng wifi doon sa bahay (na madalas gamit ng lola konfor communication dahil marami siyang kausap na clients nung ahente pa siya and family). Ayaw makihati ng nanay ko sa bayad pero nakikinabang sila. So ganun na sitwasyon mg lola ko. Inuutusan pa niya yun helper (long time na kamag anak namin from the province na lalaki napakabait na tao)na magpaload para lang makausap kami at iba pa (matanda na siya, at gusto ko ding maging madali ang paggamit niya ng internet dahil importanteng tao yjng mga kausap niya). Sobrang laking problema din dahil siya ang namomroblema sa bayad sa sedan (ilang beses na siya napenalize ng bangko. SPOTLESS ang record niya sa bangko sa mahigit dalawang dekada niyang pagiging client, ngayon lang nagkaproblema). Add ko lang din pala na tanga din magdrive ang nanay ko kaya nagkabungguan sila ng truck, nasira yun kotse (pero nagagamit pa, wasak lang yun 2 doors sa driver side) at alam niyo na siguro kung sino namroblema sa pagbayad sa pagpaayos.
Mentally, psychologically, pagod na pagod na yung lola ko sa sitwasyon. Ilang taon na niyng gusto paalisin yun nanay ko pero wala talaga. Yun pinundar niyang bahay ay gusto na niyang ibenta MAPAALIS lang nanay ko. Baka po may maaadvise kayo, or may lawyer o kahit sino man dito na makakatulong. Please, maglalaan ako ng oras at pera kung kinakailangan para makipagusap sa inyo.

The band were shocked and saddened when told the news, and out of respect immediately felt the right decision was to cancel the show. A police investigation is taking place which would also have prevented the show from happening. We know how disappointed fans will feel, but can only say at this point, the gig will be re-arranged and we will have news of the revised date as soon as possible.

Jay Kay would like to apologise to disappointed fans for the cancellation of last night's show in France. Jay's on-going groin injury has been diagnosed as a hernia which will be need to be operated on later in the summer. Following an MRI scan last week specialists had advised rest but Jay has insisted he wants to try to finish the current run of dates. Doctors have said that provided he manages the pain sufficiently he can continue performing if he feels able. During the course of the past two days the pain flared up again and yesterday he reluctantly decided he did not feel he well enough to perform last night. After two days rest he is hopeful he will be able to complete the remaining 4 shows of the current run, including Toulon tomorrow night. Jay said "I would like to thank fans for their understanding, this is a very frustrating injury and some days the pain is just too extreme to perform to a standard I believe is acceptable. I promise I will do my best to come back out again soon when I'm fully fit and am optimistic I'll be able to pull off the remaining shows of the run."
