Stearic Acid - Cacao vs Cocoa Butter?

Hi team - this is going to be confusing with lots of cacao/cocoa.
Local store near me sells Cacao Butter, but everything I read online talks about Cocoa butter. I have read that cacao is less processed and is not exposed to the same high temperatures as cocoa but is otherwise the same. Can I assume cacao butter has the same % (25-35 it seems) of stearic acid as cocoa butter?
Thanks!

Cacao vs cocoa powder?

What are the pro's cons for each (money not important). I tried searching for keto cacao recipes but google just shows cocoa recipes. Is there a massive difference in taste? and is cacao better for nutrients/carbs?
This would be for fat bombs, chocolate deserts, and tomato dishes to take the acid edge (i used to use dark chocolate in bolognese sauce)

Cacao vs cocoa

I just started keto and looking through recipes. Everyone seems to prefer cocoa powder over cacao. Im confused as I thought cacao was more nutrient dense? Is there a reason to pick one over the other?

I had ordered some cacao powder online a while back. I think I may have mistaken it for the cocoa powder? Will this still work to combat the depression? Or have I acquired the wrong item?

Making Milk Chocolate Bars

I've found a milk chocolate recipe but I'd like to know what type of powder is best to use.
https://www.wikihow.com/Make-Chocolate
Would it be best to use raw or roasted (cacao vs. cocoa)?
Would it be better to use dutched or non-dutched?
Is there a preferred brand?
I'm looking to make something that's melt-in-your-mouth and chocolaty without being too bitter or "chalky".
thanks!

Should I say it or not?

I feel so heavy carrying this obsession. I have been wondering, should I tell him? I exchanged some messages with others affected by the Flame, we usually agree that being brave and telling them the feelings is a right choice. Whatever Oracle I have consulted has told me to be bold. But there is more than one way to be bold in front of the Flame.
I can bare it all and when the time is ripe, dramatically announce that I can't stop thinking about him. I will add "I'm not asking for anything" and show how I cannot control my mind. Behave like a version of Jane Eyre. Say it and flee. By telling him I can maybe achieve some sort of inner peace, dropping some of the burden.
I clearly remember turning down a friend who told me he had feelings for me. I thought he was very brave to utter this, and I rejected him nevertheless.
He will very likely say he likes me as a friend (or maybe that he has the feeling too, but let's stay friends, he has a woman) and we will not become friends afterwards, because I will avoid him more. I don't even know if my feeling can go away after telling him. I assume something must... Move?
So, when time is right I should be brave and just say it! But... That would ruin the mood, wouldn't it?
What if by acting heroically like a teenage book character I will be just it - and whatever mysterious dance we are involved in at this point will collapse? Should I just keep on playing the word charade, unsure if he's playing along, become bolder, filling my sentences with ambiguous meanings until the atmosphere between us becomes impossible to ignore?
I have been entertaining these thoughts for a while. I want to see him alone and tell him, yeah. It's easier than charade, than infusing with my passion a conversation about raw cacao vs cocoa powder and waiting for another chance to talk about liver cleanses.
In my dream last night he said he was leaving. Leaving the town I guess. Today I felt sadness, worrying it could be true. Have'nt seen him in a bit, did he leave? Did my pushy energy push him out of the city?
Would there even be a point of telling him if he really leaves? How can I be so affected by a dream version of him saying he's going? Nothing else he ever did or said made me feel so lost. Just the idea I will have nobody to bump into and exchange eye sparks makes me feel weak inside. He is much deeper under my skin than I have considered.
Should I say it or keep rolling the way it is now?
Have you told your flame the truth?
What was their reaction?
Most importantly, what was your reaction?

Wow.. Fat Bomb [8]

Anyone ever eat a Fat Bomb while smoking and immediately start to get a full body high?
These are the ones I made
I had two of them and I also added sea salt to the top of them.. They are amazing if you haven't tried them very easy to make. I also used 1 tbsp of cacao and 2 tbsp of cocoa. I try to use cacao once a day in something for some of these benefits. Gotta love super foods!

question about cocoa vs. cacao powder

I'm trying to make this recipe for low calorie chocolate sauce that's essentially just cacao powder, water, and stevia. I only have cocoa baking powder at my house so that's what I'm using and it came out absolutely terrible, I'm wondering if it would be any better with the cacao powder and maybe different sweetener or is it just a bad recipe? I'm usually a really good cook but know almost nothing about baking ingredients. Thanks in advance!

Cocoa/Cacao butter vs Butter vs Tallow Vs Dairy Products

Just as the title says, which of these is better overall in terms of stearic acid and low polyunsaturated fats?
I've heard great things about Cocoa/Cacao butter but does it not have a high concentration of polyunsaturated fats as well? Wouldn't it therefor be better to eat stuff like suet over the cocoa butter? We have cocoa butter at home already so I was wondering if it might be good to try using it for this or if I'd be better sticking to butter and other animal fats.
And how are the fat contents of higher fat dairy like sour cream and high fat yogurt (greater than 10%) in terms of stearic acid, would it be comparable in ratio due to the fact its from the same source?

Cocoa Butter vs Cacao Butter for Tempering

Hey all!
so I got a bunch of chocolate molds and recipes, but I'm having a lot of trouble keeping chocolate in temper... for some reason, it never seems to get as hard as I see (and hear) in videos...
So rather than keep fiddling with temperature, I've heard I can add cocoa butter to chocolate that has been melted but not tremendously overheated, and as long as I keep agitating it, it will remain in temper...
So my question is: Does this work with cocoa butter, cacao butter, or both? Cacao butter seems significantly cheaper, so that would be the better option if it works just as well...

Cocoa vs Cacao for Greek Yogurt

I really want to make some chocolate greek yogurt. Everything I have found has suggested using cocoa powder, specifically Hershey's unsweetened. I was planning on buying cacao powder (specifically: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EKLPLU4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A7H4Z6H7XXCZ9 ) as I thought it was healthier, but would I need cocoa powder to obtain the chocolate greek yogurt I wish to create? Thanks for any help!

While terminology can often be confusing, the cacao vs. cocoa debate isn't just semantics. Cacao refers to the whole cacao bean whereas cocoa is defatted cacao that has undergone additional industrial-scale processing. Cocoa is sweeter and better for baking, while cacao is thought to have more antioxidants because of the cold-processing. It’s also lower in calories, which makes it a favorite of keto dieters . Cacao and cocoa are kinds of the same thing... they're also very different! We don't want to confuse you, but we do want you to discover the truth about their differences. Luckily, Sarah Wilson has the facts for you! Firstly, Sarah’s Story... Almost four years ago I quit sugar. What started out as just a new year experiment became something more. Giving up sugar was easier than I thought Cocoa is a bit sweeter than cacao due to the higher processing temperature. That means you might need to tweak cocoa-based recipes a little to get the taste you’re looking for. Buying top-quality cocoa, or following recipes designed with cacao in mind, are other options. Play around with it, experiment, and find out what tastes best to you! Cacao and cocoa may sound similar, but both of them are unique when it comes to taste, nutrition, and cost. If you’re unsure if you should buy cacao vs cocoa, check out these differences below Just like cacao, “cocoa” is the fruit and seeds of Theobroma cacao, a tropical plant native to South America. However, “cocoa” is the French and English word for the plant, a mangled interpretation of the Spanish word “cacao.” “Cocoa” entered the languages when the plant itself did, also via the Spanish Empire. While cacao refers to cacao beans that have not been roasted, what is called cocoa is made of beans have been roasted. So, in turn, a product that is labeled cacao is the raw bean and is often packaged as vegan chocolate that has been minimally processed with no additives. Cocoa powder and cacao powder are very similar, the only difference being that cocoa is processed at a much higher temperature (and often packaged cocoa contains added sugar and dairy). Both start out as beans from the cacao plant (confusing, right?), which are separated from the fatty part known as cocoa butter. At harvest, cacao beans are fermented to develop flavor and texture. Another fallacy we’ve noticed are images depicting cacao vs cocoa powder; whereby the cacao is a lighter colour and the cocoa is a dark chocolaty colour. This has nothing to do with the product being cacao or cocoa and instead has everything to do with how it’s been processed into a powder. Use of “cacao” versus “cocoa” on chocolate products is inconsistent. Generally, raw cacao products — made from fermented, dried, unroasted cacao beans — are less processed and healthier. Still,...
